Still shopping around for 1st trike. Narrowed down to a GW. See a lot of 02-04 below $19K. Have read that when buying get at least an 06'or newer. Whats main differences between pre 06 models and 06 or newer? An 08-10 model year is about my max expense wise or $24K

Biggest upgrades were: Better frame, bigger radiators, heated grips and seats standard, plus huge increase in audio amp.

06 through 08 were pretty much identical. Minor creature comfort changes for 09 and 10. Major changes in 2012 , but you know that....:xszpv:

Comfort System(heated grips/heated seat)was not standard in 06!
However, 06 was a major improvement in several areas.
There was some nice options introduced in 06 along w/improvements in frame, cooling and audio.
While the heated grips work well, the heated seat and the Nav systems are not worth the $$$ they cost!!!!!!
Some of the options in 06 did become standard is subsequent model years.

I have an 2008 level 3 with 30,800 miles on it with loads of extras & custom paint for sale price is $24,775 I can help with del.

Our 2009 GW's have heated grips and seats. We can definitely feel the heat. The grips have a tube of comfort foam slipped over them and we use RoadHawk seat cushions. The heat comes through great.
We don't use the navigation systems at all.
