1500 mile Ride To Work week

I calculate that it would take me 24 1/2 hrs flying/driving or 29 1/2 hrs triking to all my jobs this week. So, of course I am triking it. Also saving $1000 on travel expenses. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
Riding from LI to Shenendoah valley in Va. Then over to Richmond. Then down to about 40 min. West of Wilmington, NC.
Give a wave if you see me.Did I mention getting paid to ride?

Alot depends on when I get done with work in Bridgeville. I'm leaning towards stopping somewhere between there and Richmond. Already 180 in to trip at 6:30am.

Felt like rain behind me, so I pushed the rest of way into Richmond. Looking at radar, it looks like there were some spotty things chasing me down.
How long ago did you leave Shirley. I go kayaaking and surfing over that way in the summer.
Should be able to get Richmond job done by mid morning, then onto Riegelwood, NC Tues. afternoon. 550+ miles into trip. 13 hr. day today with a couple of hours "real work".:Coffee:

I lived in Shoreham, not Shirley.

I was there for 25 years. Before that, I lived in Lindenhurst and then Centereach. As much as I love Virginia, I really do miss Long Island, even with all of the congestion!

Turns out what I thought was a 4 day allergy attack is actually something else. My wife just got it back home. Riding while sneezing & congested with eyes tearing makes me glad I am on a trike right now. Still better than in office. And at least, I won't be able to smell the chemicals at a paper mill Wed.:Joker3:

When we moved, our taxes were just starting to really increase tremendously. That was one of the reasons why we knew we had to relocate, unfortunately. All of our friends and family are still there. And as much as I enjoyed the ride from VA to LI in the beginning, its really starting to wear on me now. I've gotten to the point where I'd rather stay home than go visit up there.

Ended the week doing 1567 miles for work and visiting 4 customers. While having an Allergy overload that left me getting very little sleep. 5 Hr. Energy's are my friend. Made it into office by 7am Friday (left Monday at 3am). Outa there by mid-day. Nice relaxing week flying to Oak Ridge, TN for this next week.
