13" shocks

Would 13" shocks work on a tri glide? I know they call for 13.5. Thinking a 1/2 inch should not cause any issues.

All of my experience with shortening shock length tells me that 1/2" will make a big change. You only have 2-3" of full shock travel and shortening them will change the travel and the cushioning of the ride. If you want to lower it, just make a set of lowering brackets to achieve the 1/2" objective. You might have tire clearance issues as well.

I don't have a TriGlide but I do have an issue with shock travel to get mine to sit right. I chose shorter air-rides and the ride is harsh. I am going to change the lower attaching points and lengthen the shocks.

Perhaps we can trade air shocks ??????:cxtv:

I put the Ohlin HD 159 Shocks on My 16 TG, They are adjustable in length and fit great

so far they are performing much better than the stock ones, dialed them out 23 clicks for my weight, they come pre adjusted image.png

I am not trying to lower the Trike, there is a pair of HD premium adj shocks on another forum. They are new take offs. Owner states they are 13". Just did not think a 1/4 " inch on both ends would make a huge difference in handling. The stock shocks are horrible.
