1:52 pm Who felt it?

Very wierd, I did not feel it here, but the wife was evacuated from her building at work just 5 miles away. Guess maybe I was sleeping at the computer or something. We live about 300 miles from the epicenter.

I sure felt it! Got a pretty good rocking toward the end. Lots of things falling from flat surfaces. Don't think any pictures fell. 81 miles from epicenter.

Sitting in my car at 2pm in Westborough, MA - felt nothing. but Natick (@ 10 miles away) felt it. My son said that friends out in Chicopee (near Springfield, MA) felt tremors too.

Was working at a job site about 50 miles southwest of Myrtle Beach. Didn't feel squat. Of course, it was a machine shop, so how would I know there was an extra vibration happening?

Having lived in Japan (site of frequent earthquakes) for 5 years I took the "little rattle" with a grain of salt and went on reading the book I had in hand at the time.

Just glad it wasn't "the big one" when you consider most folks on this coast don't have first hand familiarity with them and what they can do.
