Stripped floorboard bolt
Exactly. H-D uses some seriously strong thread lock on those bolts. Need heat before attempting removal.- ultrafxr

Handlebar? clutch cable question
Oh yeah I did get wire extensions from KST when I ordered the bars and I think you'll need them. Might be able to jigger things around but why when the extensions are not expensive. The throttle wire is plenty long enough - nothing to do to it.- ultrafxr

Handlebar? clutch cable question
Put the KW 2+2 narrow sweepers on my 2020 with hydro clutch and did not need extensions - just cut cable ties and re-reouted as best I could. Tight but doable. On my 2024 with the cable clutch I added KST 12" 6 bend bars. KST said it would work with stock cable but was very tight. Didn't...- ultrafxr

TK1 or MC210 Aluma Trailer
Well the TK1 is wider than the MC10 - 63" vs 51" and it has 14" tires vs 13". Plus it had an built in storage box. That's why I went with the TK1 but either model is a great choice.- ultrafxr

In this case 'they all do that' is probably correct. Backstory - I got DD gauges on my 2020 TG. It 'blanked' out on me a couple times and I too thought something was defective so I returned them and DD replaced with a new set. Guess what? They did it too! I've not done what you refer to so I don't know if my Dakota Digital gauges do that also. I'll check and let you know. However I do sometimes get some phantom readings as I scroll through the trigger switch to look at settings - trip A, trip B, etc. Sometimes I'll see data for tire pressure...- ultrafxr
