New one will be 10"longer. 
I needed the old mount plate to see if the engine was going to clear everything, when the chain lines up it should clear the left rear tire by 1/2" and the right rear should clear by 1/4". Chain will be too close to the Disc and Caliper.
Bob, There should be more information on the signals, here in California I use the DMV BIG BOOK for distance from ground and distance apart and brightness etc... Good build have fun with it.
The 1.25X.125 wall sq tubing with 3/5 steel running inside and PLUG welding (tack weld for now). More adjustments and cross pieces next, the plate platform for engine mount???
Measurements for extending the swing arm 3" and then there is the sprocket that needs about 1" to the right. I do not want to have to go the jackshaft route...
Rick, look at handlebars in like eBay to see which ones might work for you. Good luck and stay with us to help others in your situation. Also remember reverse trikes for sit in and steering wheel, Ohhhh Damnnnn! AND manual paddle shifter (or clutch) how coool would that be... I love to think...
Soon my little one...Going to try the HF Predator 15.8 HP eStart with shims for the engine height and front rod ends and the wife seat AND hope not the rear axle spacers. I hope the bicycle front end will keep up with MPH, :>)
