Have owned a 883 sporty, ultra limited, and now I have a 13 TriGlide. Test drove a 2 wheel, 2015, level 3, GL1800. I feel the Honda was a lot more comfortable, cooler, better ergonomics, better engine, not deafening, without more out of pocket to make it comfortable. Almost traded keys on the...
Did my own 10K on my 13 Tri Glide a couple of weeks ago. $430 stealer quote(about $60 in parts, and about 3 hours of my time.)Have the service manual. Went to grease the head bearing. No evidence of grease at the top, or bottom of head bearing, none on zerk fitting either. I had to refill a 3oz...
local printer said it wasn't a big enough job. Kinko's for $13.50. Had to split the main manual into 2 separate books, because they could only do up to an inch thick. Makes it a lot easier to view and also make a copy of a page so that the book doesn't get trashed.
If you tow a trailer behind your trike, how often do you take it with you, in the trailer?
Looking for different experiences/opinions. I have looked at many different posts on here, and have found many informative posts, and have come to what I think will work for me.
Looking at a R & R, 7x16...
Finally found one!!:pepper:
Got this at Ukes Harley Davidson yesterday. Was only one left on the shelf.

Seems to depend who you talk to, at the dealership I use.
Awhile ago, clothing people said they get what they get. Yesterday, they state, they could order some shirts in?!?!
Out for a ride today. 80* on the air temp guage, 32psi oil pressure. 14.75 on voltage guage. Not riding it like a crotch rocket. Cruising 35-55 speed limits. No engine mods, do have the baffle and the 2 pieces on the side of the forks(can't remember name, right now).
Front of engine every now...
Wondering what fellow snow bound trikers do when the white stuff flies. With my two wheeler, I always waited till the snow melted and a good rain washed the salt away here in northeastern Illinois (not a fair weather/temperature rider). My garage is unheated, no hose bib for freshwater washing...
2013 TriGlide, 2568 miles
Stock except for Dennis' lift kit and tour pack relocation kits.
Ignored oil spots(1/4-1/2" dia) on my right fender bra, until today. Always thought it was from the road, but, it wasn't on the other fender. No drips on the ground. Ran my hand around air cleaner, came...
Just got a call from my dealer about a recall on my 13 Tri Glide filler neck. Didn't go into details.
Figured I was at 950 miles, fix the filler neck, might as well get the 1K service done, fix the trunk latch(more parts coming off, latching/unlatching problems), replace the tour pack...
Can't believe I waited this long to own a TriGlide!
Not a bad ride except the solid axle on some big bumps such as bad RR crossings. Plenty of storage.
I did find a loose nut in the trunk receiver part of the trunk latch. Service manager said hold onto the nut and that I bring it in with my...
While going over my 2013 Tri Glide, at the dealer, the reverse was intermittent, then would just engage, no movement. Service writer said a bolt on solenoid was stripped. Replaced solenoid and delivered trike to me.
Put 1 mile on it around neighborhood, including using reverse, on level ground...
Just purchased a 2013 Big Blue Pearl/Vivid Black Tri Glide Ultra Classic, yesterday. Hope to get it home in 2 weeks, Rain for the following week. Traded in a 2011 Root Beer Ultra Limited. Had an incident 3 weeks ago. No damage to bike, but one titanium rod from knee to ankle and 4 screws, time...
