After calling every parts place in town, I finally found the cap on Summit Racing's site. Here is the cap that is on our Stallions, at least it looks exactly the same with the same markings. It's an Expansion Tank Mini Pressure Cap 16LB. Canton Racing Products 81-016SM. Rick
Does anyone know what part number the radiator cap is? I know it is a 16lb cap, but it seems smaller than one that goes on an auto radiator. I replaced the temperature switch, with the correct one, but now it seems like the radiator cap is leaking. It did start leaking when the Stallion...
Thanks Ted. The original switch came from Vintage Air, but they don't have good reviews. I'll be calling Painless Performance on Tuesday to see if they have one. They are the ones that the guy that found the problem suggested as he said that they have good ones. I was trying to get someone to...
I just got back from a 1900 mile trip, it was cut short, from AZ up through Sequoia NP, Yosemite NP and a few days in Lake Tahoe. While in Lake Tahoe, we were taking a trip around the lake and going to go over Mt Rose on our way to Virginia City. On the way up Mt Rose, the Stallion started...
I don't remember what year you have, but my 2008 has three relays under the seat on the crossbar. They control the radiator fan and A/C. I had all three fail and a week later the relay for the power control module failed and the trike just shut down. Had to have it towed. There were TBS after...
I did find the compressor and pressure switch that I ordered in 2021. It did more than double in price from when I purchased it. It is almost impossible to get all the mounting nuts back on, so I didn't install all of them. It hasn't fallen off in four years, so I guess I didn't need all of...
The adjustment for the suspension is behind the rear seat back. You will find the compressor there. You are probably bleeding down because the check valve is bleeding through. I had the same problem. I replaced the compressor, check valve and regulator. You can purchase everything on Amazon and...
Progressive used to rebuild your shocks if you sent them to them. The Stallion group on Facebook had some part numbers for replacements, but I don't know how well they fit as the original ones have an offset on the bottom mounts for clearance. Rick
You got really lucky that they sent you the new bars. When I asked them if I could get replacements, Richard told me that the only way that they would do it is if they broke. I said that was crazy because I would have to darn near kill myself before they would fix a known problem. Rick
Welcome. I see you have had some problems with your Stallion. The brake caliber bars are a normal issue. I changed mine and tried different kinds. The rattle may come back. Some 2008's had the ladder bars break. I changed mine to the newer style while TMS still had them. Good Luck. Rick
