Mine would pop open on heavy bumps. Adjustments checked out good so I just lubricated it and haven't had any issues in over a year. But, definitely don't slam the door.
I got rid of my pesky heel shifter. I made a space out of delrin to take up the slack and move the "normal" shift lever out to a more comfortable position. I'll need to remake it out of a little larger diameter piece of delrin, but a 1" was all I have right now.
Hope everyone is having a great Veteran's Day. I stood in line for my Little Caesars lunch and got my Texas Roadhouse coupon this afternoon. Off to B'dubs a little later this evening.
Didn't get much for being a vet the first 30 years or so, making up for it now.
