Wide white wall tires
Wanted to give an update on these calling tires. Tires seem to be performing well. I will caution anyone with the 265/50/15 size that the wide whites are vulcanized on the side of tire making for extra width. They are very close to inner fender on hard bumps. No issue yet. What trailer do you use to haul your trike?
Awesome glad your system works for you. I just switched to a single axle trailer instead of my tandem. Wife what's to ride with me so we will let one trike home in future.- Redharley

Old school, I have same trailer in 14ft awesome. Wandering did you have front stone guard made and does it affect tilting.- Redharley

Thinking your rear is the same as champion from when lehman bought them. Never had mine apart. Behind that lower red plastic plug when turning axle should be a grease fitting takes a couple pumps from grease gun once or twice a season. Maybe thats all thats needed.- Redharley

I have replaced outer bearings in ours. Looks like yours. Remove brakes, remove 4 bolts axle should come out. Hopefully you didn't tear up end off housing where bearing fits. Take axles to a machine shop to press the bearings on and off. Local napa store had bearings.- Redharley

About a year ago I found a real nice 35th anniversary classic for sale. Purchased it. Spent the fall and winter looking for bike of same color (didn't want to paint) Harley touring platform to mate. Talked with them by phone a few weeks back. Was told nothing in the size of 265/50/15. Guess were going to have change size of rims or go blackwall.- Redharley

Avoid buying a Lehman?
We have an older lehman conversion [2007) on a harley roadking , have about 50,000 ON KIT no issue's to speak of. 1 wheel bearing went out easily got at auto parts . Good luck with your decision- Redharley
