What kind of oil?
According to the paperwork I've got a 2009, 1600cc VW motor on my trike. I have no idea what kind of oil to use but was told it had to have zinc in it??. What about additives? Synthetic oil? etc. Also, it doesn't have a spin on filter but I was told I could get a kit to convert it. Any ideas...- RedDirtFarmer

Carburetor question
Yes there is a wire from the distributor to that solenoid on the carb, not sure what function it has, it seems to be solid but I will check it for sure with a meter. Here's a zoomed out picture with the distributor.- RedDirtFarmer

Okay, I have another question I hope someone can help me with. I have no service manual so I'm kind of in the dark here. I'm totally new to anything VW and although I got the trike running, it does not idle very good or take gas smoothly at low rpm when it's hot. It seems to be running lean...- RedDirtFarmer
