May sound silly, if you have the slip in sissy bar take it out and go for a ride. I didn't have squeal but I did have a chirp and the Sissy bar rubbing in the socket was the culprit.
JT I use the orange tray under the filter but before removing filter I drill one hole in the bottom of filter and one at the top to vent, go have a cold drink come back loosen the filter so top hole is on bottom and see if it is completely drained.
Thanks for all the comments, bought a new 2023 MC 210 with 5 year warranty for less than a new TK1. The MC 210 is 78"wide , which is better for loading and hauling my Kawasaki mule
