Can you trike a softail?
I guess that kinda says it all. I'm thinking about getting a two wheeler with the thought in mind of maybe triking it down the road to give my TriGlide a running buddy. Outside of an Electra Glide or even a Road King (too expensive if I'm gonna trike it), would a softie be an OK candidate or...- oldtimer

Wow, just the sheer joy of it...
I know I'm preaching to the choir, but what a great ride I had with the wife today! Only 160 miles Between Marietta GA and Blue Ridge and back with a few side roads along the way, but what a perfect fall day. Clear and crisp, with a lot of bikes out and a lot of trikes too. Anybody actually ride trike stock?
Anybody actually ride their trike stock? Or at least close to stock? I'm getting a little depressed reading all these threads about how bad these things are, no power, too much heat, you gotta spend at least 3K to get it to where it's even streetworthy, etc. Are they really that awful stock?- oldtimer
