    I in eastern NC and in the winter I still occasionally get a day or ten I can ride so i never winterize. It’s always ready to roll. I do have nice winter gear to ride.

    THREE HOLES OIL

    I use NAPA 15W50 syn, the new Gear oil in the Primary and Walmart, a Valvoline or Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil . I always said, the most important thing is actually changing it to the proper intervals. I used Amsoil 20W50 in all 3 holes and SYN3 in all 3 holes. I didn’t really feel the need to...

    Road trip time

    Mrs and I pushed it a bit last year on the bike to test ourselves, we did 3000 miles in 6 days around the UP. We surprisingly were not that tired at the end of the week. We saw plenty of road… lol

    You don’t have to remove it but it makes working on everything under so much easier. And you can go over all the critical fasteners, clean everything and just learn about your machine.

    I torque the clamps like a rear wheel then hit the wrench with a mallet.

    We got in a 100 or so miles ride, it was hot though so moving was critical . Made sure where I was going we had not many stops.
