Right now I just have the stock suspension, so no skin in the game. But if and when I can obtain an improved suspension, my thought would be to:
1) Adjust the shocks incrementally as per DK's note above, until I found the best setting - might want to do that solo and with passenger and...
Didn't actually do it today but did it last week: spent a great deal of cash on very mild stage 2 for the trike with Wood WM8-22xe cam, cobra headers with 909 exhausts, new intake manifold and intake, plus the stuff to make it happen that included a tune on a trike dyno. Didn't require...
Greetings,
Just wondering if anyone has researched this unit:
ITM HD 3.1+ (Late model 2020+ TOURING ONLY)
Unfortunately the website says this equipment is not yet ready for trikes. https://infotechmercenary.com/product/itm-hd-1-3-late-model-2020-touring-only/
It will activate the ABS brake...
I weighed mine on a road side scale it was 1,279 LB with whatever I have bolted on and carrying.
The flattering news from weighing with me on then off is that I am 198 LB's with all my bike garb and helmet on. I guess eating nuts and straw with some exercise does something positive. Had a...

1) They mount to the tour pack lid or the tour pack, this seems very flimsy and asking for an expensive repair. (Harley has a better...
Yes with 2" + 2" bars (10 inch bars?) you don't require extended cables. 12 inch bars you might need extensions but If you go 14" apes or more you will for sure need extensions.
Just the 10 in. bars (2+2) make as very significant difference to comfort and operability.
Just in case you haven't seen this, I found this tidbit of knowledge from a post by newbury2000 on the Harley Davidson forums 2018 ultra limited water pump failure and replacement - Harley Davidson Forums
Apparently the HD coolant pump is the same as used on Audi's and the like. You may want...
Greetings,
I would suggest that you change out the coolant. If it is over 2 (?) years old it may be starting thicken / gel and may then burn out the coolant pump. Learned that the hard way.
Also on Saturday - Bristol Hercules engine run up. 14 cylinder sleave valve radial. This was considered a very reliable engine by the crews that flew with them. Here is a pic of the timing gears:
Further to Carl / HDUSA1 information on the coolant, I wonder if the same antifreeze / coolant that is in my 5.0 mustang would be a compatible alternative since that is an aluminum motor.
