So I have a friend (not me, lol) who bought a RG3....and his better half wants to get one but wants one that is automatic. The only ones I know that are clutch-less is a converted Honda DCT and Can Am's.....
She strongly prefers a Harley....thought Baker offers an auto tranny, but don't see...
Can the "Harley Freewheeler" subforum title be updated to add the RG3?
Just curious if the title can be updated to include the RG3? Seems more appropriate here vs the "Triglide" subforum.....I don't think there is a need to add a new subforum for the model....
Just a suggestion....
Just looking at different scenarios/options.....I like Hannigan's Transformer kit, but the overall cost is starting to be way up there.....the conversion cost difference might be the same vs trading in or selling my RG for a RG3.....I've ridden some demos of independent suspension kits @ Laconia...
Wow beautiful RG trike!! Looks like this was an 11 RGU like mine.
2 questions as I'm considering the Transformer kit from Hannigan.
1) Can the tourpak be installed a few inches back for more room for the passenger?
2) with the 5 degree rake kit on the RG, can you still turn the forks all...
Day 3: Monday, June 12
I rode to the NH Motor Speedway to visit California SideCar.
once there, I got initially sidetracked and demoed a Slingshot
Anyway I talked to Tony from CSC in length and they let me demo a 08 Independent suspension conversion.......OMG!!
this is the way to go, and...
Day 2: Sunday, 6/11
Rode 10 miles north to Weirs Beach in Laconia.
I must say, I've demoed the M8, but how much can u really get a feel on a 10 minute ride, this engine is superb!! Lots of power and torque and for a big rig too. Used 6th gear all the time yesterday and felt no heat on 85...
my buds had to cancel their trips, so I changed my plans to attend Laconia instead of the Smokeys. Since I was in a learning curve, I thought it would be easier to get used to the trike in highway riding then twisties. I was able to score on a nice bed and breakfast in Tilton, NH late on the...
Day 1: Saturday 6/10
So I went to the dealership to pick up the rental and behold the TriGlide they gave me
After the signing the papers, I had to show I can ride it, and after initially trying to counter steer I finally mustered the strength to steer and did an awkward slow figure eight...
Does the California Sidecar have the highest capacity of all the aftermarket kits. I see the standard is 650lbs, but you can increase it to 775lbs if you choose that option.
I checked DFT, Lehman & Champion and they do not list their ratings. The standard capacity of the Harley TriGlide is...
Instead of rushing into selling or trading my 11 RGU for a pre-Rushmore Triglide, I found a Harley dealer in my state to rent a Triglide for 6 days so I can join my buds on a road trip next month.
Due to my health issues, I haven't taken a long trip for a while, so I'm really looking forward...
There’s a lot of rumors for 2018 (ie., new frame, etc..). In addition, MoCo is saying they are going to release 100 models in 10 years, would love to see a Road Glide Trike. Just curious of other member’s thoughts and what they think MoCo should release to enhance the Trike line.
Hello, been lurking here for a while, I've been contemplating getting a trike lately due to some health issues and the safety benefits a trike brings vs a two wheel bike.
Lots of info in here, looking forward to future posts to expand my trike knowledge.
