    New Years Day

Sigh..... I looked outside to see about a foot of new snow. I opened the garage door to look upon the Trike all shiny and wanting to go for a run. Its a long way to spring; Sigh Happy New Year James P.

    An Irish Blessing

Merry Christmas to all my "Family" of Trike-folk. I would wish everyone a Merry Christmas but I am aware that not all celebrate Christmas so I shall leave everyone with an old Irish Blessing: May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon...

Two thumbs up for Long Ride Shields

I looked to add this post to an earlier string but through my search it appeared that most discussion was three years old (2016) so I started a new one. Earlier in the month of May the "Minister of War and Finance" (the wife) and I went on a 1700 mile ride from northern Utah down to the Grand...

    dumb question

Okay, I've had the 2016 Trike since late September; put about 4,000 miles on it so far which does not sound impressive but most of those months there was four to six feet of snow on the ground. In all that time and travel I have not found the means to adjust the brightness in the instrument...

    Damn that was cold

Just got home from a seven day ride from Northern Utah down to the Grand Canyon and back up through outback Nevada. Good ride but we nearly froze to death at the Grand Canyon; 42 degrees and cold rain. It reestablished the weather conditions I thought I could ride in, maybe not enjoy but...

    HEADING OUT

I do believe spring may be here! We had two days in a row that were quite nice and definitely "rideable"; been a long winter with LOTS and LOTS of snow. Next Monday (week from today) the minister (Minister of War and Finance, i.e. the Wife) and I are heading south for a long ride. Only hard...

    Merry Christmas biker blues

Merry Christmas everyone; hope you can spend at least some of the day with loved ones! Gotta admit to a bit of the 'biker blues' however. I'm in northern Utah at an elevation of around 6000 ft and mother nature insists on snowing....and blowing....and in short being quite rotten with respect...

    Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to wish all my new friends a Happy Thanksgiving! The fact that we can own and enjoy these Happy Toys says that we are very spoiled and have a lot to be thankful for! I hope you are with Family today (The Minister of War and Finance (The Little Lady)) is in Mississippi with her Mom...

    Lurker going active; first Harley

I've been lurking for quite awhile but its time to join the party. The minister of War and Finance (i.e. the Wife) and I just bought our first Harley, a 2016 Tri-glide. We currently have a number of other bikes (2 Honda, 1 Indian) but we were never totally comfortable two up on any of them...
