I use a 2005 Yamaha yfz 450 quad rear end. Very simple design and extremely strong. Its a pretty straight forward conversion. Hardest part is making the bushings and spacers. Linkage arms have to be lengthened a bit also.
I tell myself to take pictures of the builds but always forget. I am going to make a point of taking pictures throughout the build process of next trike. Looking to build a Ducati soon, time for some V torque.
Just turned 58. Actually with the bar risers its not to bad. Not a bike you'd take on long rides, but sure is a blast ripping through the back country roads :)
Installed New 255/55-12 steel belted radial tires and narrowed the rear 2 inches. Rides way smoother,handles even better and IMO looks so much nicer! With the larger tires was able to lower the bike another 2 inches.
Latest Sport Bike Build. Power is insane. Smokes the tires with twist of the throttle through 3rd gear. Easily power wheelies in 3rd and absolutely rips in the corners. This one is definitely a keeper!:)
