I get rock strikes on my fenders. I see advertisements for a clear plastic film that can be applied that would provide some protection for rick strikes. Has anybody done that, and if so what is your opinion?. The other option is to use fender bra. However, when I have used a tank bra in the...
From time to time I am getting a lot of dust/dirt on the gas tank, particularly on the left side. I am guessing this is caused by the front wheel throwing up dust/dirt in a turn. Has anybody else noticed this? Do you think a mud flap on the front wheel would cure this?
Yes, the dealer installed the TPMS sensor. But anybody could do it. I ordered some zip ties, 48 inch long and 4 inch long. The 48 inch zip tie went around the hub of the wheel, and then the 4 inch zip tie went through the TPMS sensor and then through the 48 inch zip tie to hold the sensor...
No, I couldn't change the mode myself. I took it the dealer and he did it. A funny thing happened throughout all of this. Before I installed the TPMS on the second back wheel, I would get a flat tire light on the dash telling me that the back tire pressure was too low. Once I Installed the...
I have a 2020 Road Glide with RDRS. I have added TPMS sensors to both back tires, but when I put the bike in 3 wheel mode, the Cruise Control quits working. It works fine in 2 wheel mode, but I get a flat tire indication with 25 psi in the back tire. Anybody know about this problem or how to...
what I did was purchase a 48 inch zip tie and a 4 inch zip tie. The 48 inch zip tie went around the inside of the wheel hub and the 4 inch zip tie held the TPMS sensor to the 48 inch zip tie. WORKS!
All of the conversions seem to have this problem. The TPMS sensor for my Harley would not fit the wheels supplied by MotorTrike. What I did was get a 48 inch zip tie and a 4 inch zip tie. I put the 48 inch zip tie around the inside of the wheel hub and attached the TPMS sensor to that with...
A few months ago I had my 2020 Harley Road Glide converted using a Motor Trike kit. The trike looks, rides, and handles great. When I picked it up, however, it had 2 near fatal flaws. There was a constant red light on the dash, and every time I backed up a host of trouble codes were generated...
