I was wondering what you all wear. I would never ride my bike with out boots, but am thinking hi top chucks would be ok on the trike?

I wear tennis shoes on a trike, my feet do not touch the ground unless I'm getting on or off the trike. I also wear shorts and t-shirt in hot weather.
:10:

I always wear over the ankle boots for protection. I've got to admit that this is the first summer that I haven't worn a mesh jacket due to the heat. I figured I have 2 choices, ride without a jacket or don't ride at all. I still wear jeans and the T-shirt I wear is high viz green. I feel a little safer on a trike with less chance of going down, but it you hit something and you're not, of course, wearing seat belts, you are going over or thru the windshield.

I'm still a "Gear Guy" from past experiences....Helmet (3/4, Full Coverage, Modular depending on conditions), Motorcycle Jacket (Leather, Textile Mesh, Textile All-Weather, all with armor, depending on weather), Gloves (hard knuckle, generally racing type), Textile Touring Pants (with armor) or Motorcycle Jeans with Kevlar, High Top Motorcycle Boots (Cruiser Type at least, Full Protection or Racing Type at most)........Yes, I still "Dress for the Wreck, and Enjoy the Ride".....ThumbUp :10:

I wouldn't even think of getting on a bike without over the ankle boots.
Other stuff = jeans(never shorts), t-shirt mostly - mesh jacket only if it's real hot and the sun is out(doesn't do any good on a cloudy day).
Helmet about 60% of the time, but not on super hot days.
Tan summer weight deerskin gloves.

When I was 2 wheels, always wore boots and jeans. Now that I'm 3, tennis shoes and still jeans due to the heat from motor. Tried shorts, too hot. :)

I try to wear full boots or at least over-the-ankle heavy shoes. But I have to admit, on short runs, I'm usually wearing sneakers.

I wear service boots. First pair I found were Gates Enforcer series. Very commfortablebut spendy. Found some at Academy Sports, their own brand called Brazos, much less expensive. They have a side zipper, so once they are laced and properly tight and tied they are always the same. Also quick to get on and off due to the zipper, and because of the zipper it is easy to get to that itch that always seems to show up after you get your boots are on and tied.
As they are made for LEO's and such that are on their feet a lot they are very comfortable. I have the ones with mesh sides so they are cool, and another set of the same boot in all leather for winter.

Typical day in Scotland....leather jacket (with my waistcoat over the top), waterproof trousers, over ankle boots and a pair of full finger gloves, full face helmet. OK, now I'm ready to ride the trike.

Crocs...pumps...big fuzzy slippers....clown shoes....uhhh...actually Salomon waterproof hiking shoes..ankle high here.

Speaking of Boots ! I used to wear HH boots for yrs and yrs. I tried buying another pair the other day. $ 189.00 You got to be kidding me! Not in this life time pal!! Their freakin NUTS. I like the sq toes on these boots and how comfy they are. But never ever at $ 189.00. I asked the guy at the store. For that price is that for both ? :gah:That like a 100 $$ too much for my taste!
