Took the loaner to Woodstock and Quechee Gorge, VT this weekend.

I must say, the Yamaha Roadliner with California Side Car conversion is the most uncomfortable bike I have EVER been on. At times I was afraid the handle bars would snap off in my hands because it took so much muscle to turn it. Also the seat is unbearable even with my AirHawk cushion. My friend was on the back and she said it shimmied back and forth when I was cruising on the highway. Not sure it that is normal.

As far as my conversions goes, I'm about to head down and take my bike back and say to hell with it. My good nature is about to come to an abrupt end. I've given the owner/builder more then enough lead way and passes. Now it's time to play hardball.

I may be contacting an attorney this week and pursuing action for breach of contract.

American Trikes

Best be rethinking that.
Do yourself a favor and find another Dealer/Installer.

Please explain your post below. On the GL1800 Rider Message Board on 7/9/2014 is saying just the opposite?
Thanks

Cycle Design aka AmericanTrikes in Phillipston MA and another location in Keene, NH. Doug & Crew are good people, well experienced and capable.
I believe they Rep the Companies you list.

Enjoy the Research

Ask Dennisgar what he thinks, he has been waiting 6 mos. for his trike to be finished, and it was shipped to a NJ builder to have them do part of it. Hannigan had to get involved to get it that far. Look up Dennisgar past posts to see what we're talking about. we're only trying to help out.

Explain? OK sure ThumbUp

Pretty Simple and Straight-Forward actually,
That was Then, This is Now.

As is the Norm in all aspects of Life,,, Things Change.
Sometimes for the better-sometimes for the worse.
Unfortunately in this particular Case; the later of the two.

P.s. Nice Archaeology! ;)

Overall this shop and owner have a very good track record for their builds and customer service so I have been told by numerous folks as well as Hannigan. This is one reason I chose them to do my conversion.

It's unfortunate that I seem to be the 1% who is having problems. Things happen in life, some good, some bad. I have learned over the years to take it all in and try to understand why. Everything happens for a reason. I think my "talk" with the owner last week opened his eyes. Since then I have been in constant communication with him.

Yes, I'm upset that I am not out riding on these beautiful days but just figure that gives me more time to put $$ away and keep buying Chrome..LOL

The owner is a very nice guy with good intentions and as I said, it is unfortunate that he had to go in for surgery and also had two technicians leave (without notice) while he was gone.

I'm somewhat confident that once he gets my bike back from NJ he will be all over it to finish the job. After that......I assure you the final price WILL be negotiated!!

Everyone stay calm.....I am!!
