can some one tell me what size the windshield is on the 2015 Tri Guide as it seems a bit low and my head is getting buffered around and here in NH we don't need helmets and also it makes my eyes water, please no lectures that I should wear a brain bucket, been riding for 52 years and I am set in my ways. thanks

Not sure on size, but are you running with the vent open or closed? The dealer said head buffet is less with the vent open. I haven't even tried to close it to see if there was a difference.

Curious if the wind on a 10 inch windshield is buffeting your head how tall are you and how far over the windshield are you looking?

I am only 5'8" but my head seems to be totally over the shield so I guess I will have to try measuring and see if the next size would be better

Curious how the shield is working now. i am looking at replacing my stock shield as well. I really like the ideas coming from the website on this shield!

It works great. No regrets whatsoever. It looks great and it's thicker than the stock shield with a polished edge. Unfortunately all of these shields no matter the make, to my knowledge, still are subject to the fine scratches from cleaning or whatever since they are plastics. I prefer to use "Plexus" cleaner and I'm careful with pressure and always use clean microfiber towels. It still looks great.

So far (knock on wood), I haven't had any problem with scratches on my OEM windshield. But I'll tell you what...I bought a Clearview shield for another bike in the past, and cleaned it at a gas station. It was scratched it so bad that it was no longer usable with just one pass of the glass cleaner. I will never buy another Clearview product again because of that. No windshield should ever be that easily scratched.

I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when it happened. I had just blown $150.

Again size you ordered

curious on size ordered. Did you get one like they suggest or you like looking thru windshield. ?
Thanks

I bought the tallest HD windspilttter which was shorter than my stock 10 inch. It hits about the middle of my neck. I then bought the 15 inch HD which it just above eye level. It stopped the buffeting. I didn't find the HD windsplitter to be too much help. But I have a long torso, equivalent to 6'4"

In the winter I run a tall recurve from LRS, it's called "The Ultra 2014", I believe the one I have is the 14". Keeps the cold and rain/snow/sleet off pretty well.

In the warmer months I'm running the stock windshield. I get a bit of buffeting, but not bad. I have the stock seat with an airhawk and then sheepskin, so I'm sitting a couple of inches higher.
