Ultima Engined Trike

Just wondering if there's any other triker in here running an Ultima Engine in their trike. I replaced my 1340, with a 1851cc. Better known as a 113.

I'm not running one but I have a friend who runs one in a Dyna two wheeler with a beefed up clutch. That thing is scary powerful and it's all I can do to pull the clutch lever!!! Been trying to buy it from him but can't get together on a price. That may be a good thing as I'd probably mangle myself on it!!!

Put an S&S 111 in my wife's 05 Road King Motor Trike Conversion.
All I can say is Awesome. The 111 is a square motor 4 5/8 bore and 4 5/8 stroke smooth as glass, and ton's of power.

I have to admit,... It has incredible power compared to the 1340. Was riding 2 up down interstate 95, doing about 80 mph. Heck all the traffic was movin that speed. I went and turned the throttle to pass a truck and I had to reach back to make sure momma was still on the trike with me. Im just now changing the cam in it. The one that came with it had a power curve that was set up more for a 1/4 mile track run.
Im dropping a Woods W6H in it. I also did some other mods while I have it apart in my shop. I built a full chin spoiler for it to cover up the looks of the Ultra Cool Oil Cooler I added.

I also got tired of the oil breather set-up they have where the oil mist gets sent into the air filter. I did something different to my trike to alleviate that mess.

I've had three Ultima motors and they are the best out there!!! Built a softail in 01 with a 113/six speed and it was strong. In 06 got a hair caught and took out the 113 and put in a 127. Now that was too rough on the back tire with just a twist of the throttle--black lines in the road. Had to take it out at the price of rear tires being about 250 a pop!!! Put in a new 113 chromed model and again it was even stronger than the first 113. Best all around motor out there for everyday riding or makin' Screaman Eagles look bad !!!! All gone now and now riding a Stalliion and M109R limited edition.<br />

It's carb. Riding at 70 to 75 she get about 35 MPG, if she is in it 30 MPG and at 60 to 65 about 38 MPG. Not bad for what it is. Believe it or not it's better than the stock 88 got.<br />

[FLTR2008TRIKE]

Im running a Axtell/ TMan 117" custom engine package in my trike and pulls like a gorrilla on steroids. I can pull mountain grades on the interstate in 6th gear all the way to the top with some throttle left ( if I dont have to slow down for a slow vehicle )

Fuel mileage is subjective to how fresh the fuel is at the gas station you buy it at, weather conditions, hot, cold, or rain. You also have to consider the terrain your riding in, fuel grade and mostly how your riding style is.

I can get as high as 38 and low as 25mpg with my engine setup and tune
