I know I'm blonde, but last fall someone was asking about a GWRRA-sponsored trike course in the CenTex area . . . can't find your post in my PM list - - have some info for you - - please PM me again so I can pass it along.

Our District Educator will be holding trike courses which substitute for MSF courses on your driver's license. Contact me for info!! Thanks!

None in Fl that I know of. Taught myself how to ride a nearly half ton high-performance motorcycle, use Ghost Wheels, Kliktronic shifter by myself. HD riders edge wanted nothing to do with it. I dropped her 14 times, but the Ghost Wheels stop the fall before the floorboards touch earth, so no damage. A class or instructor to point out "man, you screwed that up" would have been nice.

That sounds great.....for Texas. Anyone know of any trike courses here in Illinois?? I've only been riding for 2 seasons and could really use a safety course.

May I suggest moving to Texas? I did, 43 years ago, and have never regretted it for a moment. ThumbUp

I posted some info for a class in Florida under General Announcements. It is titled "FL Trikers Deal." Just something I found while surfing through Ebay.
99 cents for a 2 day Trike class I think that's a hell of a deal! If I could only get to Florida I'd be taking it.

Trike classes are available in Fl and qual. your Trike only endorsement. My wife will eventually take one so she can relief drive on long trips. MSF offers them at 300$ but they are few and far between. They are on the internet. Hope this helps, Ray

Texas - again...

I understand that Dream Rider trikes in San Angelo, TX offers a certified MSF course and a trike course. 325-655-6201 - office and showroom

They've got some nice trikes too and are really friendly folks.

I had a chance to transfer to Texas around 25 years ago with my company. Didn't go with it because I hate hot weather. Now, (even though I still dislike hot weather) I kinda think I should've taken the transfer. That old, "Fork-In-The-Road" syndrome.

But staying with the OP's subject matter, the only trike course I've ever heard of in the Central Virginia area is some where near Harrisonburg and it's not given very often.
