I've got a 15, so I can't help you out.

Me too. I had a 12 and now a 14 so I can't help you either, but welcome to the forum.

I averaged 35 mpg on both, but I have a lead foot(hand).

I have a 17 Tri and its kinda hard to put a number on it because there are many variables,load weather speed ect. But if I ride like I have some sense which doesn't happen often and keep my shift points about 2500 without gouging the throttle ridding two up I get 170 to 180 before the light comes on.My trike is stock with SE slip-ons.

Even though mine's a '15 I could have thrown that in...I get the same as above.
