I was told that the rear lights on the fenders were LED but the Harley Shop said they were just regular bulbs, I have a 2015 coming soon and want to go to LED if this is true but I see in the Parts book they get $349 for them, rather pricey

Can't you simply replace the bulbs with a LED bulbs and add a load equalizer? Mine is a lot older, but that's what I did for a fraction of the cost. It was about $25 for both bulbs and about $16 for the load equalizer.

Yep have had the BADASSLIGHTS for about 7 years. People like me in the back of the pack because they are so bright. Just to give you an idea what the normal cager would see. I never have had anyone come close to my tail when I'm slowing down or stopping.

Yea...but they sure look nice...

I thought my turn signals on the front and back were LED also until I changed out the front last week for the Custom Dynamics White LED's with the Amber Centers that come on when you use the turn signal and found regular 1157 bulbs. Tomorrow getting the Bright Ass Lights (BAL-1) put on the back while I get some other work done. If I think about it I'll take some pictures with both the stock and BAL on at the same time to compare them.

Another vote for Bright Ass Lights. ThumbUp They tend to get folks attention...especially those that get a bit too close. ;)

I recently installed these on my '14 Tri Glide and discovered an interesting feature. You will notice the turn signal indicator blinks much faster. Unlike an Ultra these lights perform a dual purpose: brake light AND turn signal. They strobe nicely as a turn indicator. IMHO another nice attention grabbing feature.

Put my BAL-1R's on Wednesday. Set the intensity to High to start and have them strobe 4 times when I hit the brakes. The cars behind me don't like the bright lights and back off pretty quick. Like the turn signals also how the double flash instead of the single flash of stock. I too noticed the indicator light flashes much faster than the lights themselves.

I am extremely happy with my Radiantz LED Tail Lamps. I was able to purchase both for $200 @ Laconia bike week last year. P/N 9903-18. Plug & play on a 2014 TG.

I am extremely mechanically challenged. I was able to install Truck Lites on my headlight and passing lamps. Took me awhile because I did steps out of order. Even installed the Halo Light with trim. That's the one I had trouble with.
I was also able to install the BAL-1's on the rear. The hardest part for me was getting the gasket lined up correctly. All truely plug and play. Had to call into BAL (BrightAssLights) for help programing them, didn't come with instructions.
If anyone has instructions on how to program them, please PM them to me!

Will get them to you this afternoon unless my mind fails me.

I have the instructions in PDF format, but the file is to big to attach to this reply. Don't even see an option to attach it to a PM. You can create a user account at BAL website and then download the instructions off their website.

BAL Instructions

No worries, I finally found them on their website! Any problems with the high intensity level from others. I too would like to go to the highest level!!

Set the intensity of the tail light (not brake function) to medium and they will be perfect. If you go to the highest setting they will be too bright and blind those behind you.

I went with the Hyper-Lites for my rear end. Very noticeable. Had a cager follow me into a Menards parking lot last year to find out what they were. A lot less expensive then BAL. Only $69. I'm think on maybe installing another set or two and really getting attention. :D Can't have enough lights front or rear.
