Questions on Stallions from Canada

Hi there,
I live in Alberta, Canada and I bought a 2008 Stallion Trike that had been involved in an accident, before I found out that I am not allowed to insure it here in Canada! :Trike1:
My husband fixed the minor repairs that it needed and all it needs now is approx. $5000. in fiberglass & paint repair and it would be good as new.
It was sold with all the bells and whistles available in 2008. IE carpeted trunk, towing package, custom cover, C.D Player etc.

My question is ...if I were to advertise this trike "for sale" in the States, where on the map would I choose to do that and how much would I want to ask for it?

I have no one here that can give me an educated guesstimate or even any good advise...lol :gah:

I look forward to hearing from anyone who has an opinion... :wave4: V

"Sometimes", not always, certain States have a Law (Tennessee does now) that will only let You have liability insurance if a Vehicle has had 30% of the Vehicle's Value or more damage done to it. As far as I know though, it is a "Legal Sale" in all 50 States. I build lots of Cars/Trucks for us to drive that come with "Salvage Titles" after being totaled.....ThumbUp

...and WELCOME to TRIKE TALK.....!!!!!

thank you for that but unfortunately only three trikes are to be insured or imported into Canada and allowed over our border or on our highways... Spyder, Harley and a European trike (i think).
i could actually go into our garage and build a trike over the weekend and insure it for the road but because Thoroughbred hasn't sent us any trikes to crash test, they are therefore unacceptable :(
i have full title and it was never even officially registered as being in an accident.
i have the new windshield as well, so the fiber glass repair is all i am waiting on.
now i have to figure out how and where to sell it back to an American rider?
wish me luck... :)

good luck somewhere in the mid 20's, if the title is clear should be able to sell it anywhere in the 50 states. I would let the buyer know about the crash. sorry about not being able to register it in Canada

thanks for that Gorilla
the title is free and clear and i was hoping to be able to get around $25g but would definitely be willing to talk and i would be upfront and honest with any buyer about the accident.
the repairs that we have made, were very simple fixes...well, at least for my husband :)
i don't think it is too bad of a story to tell.
just another idiot who thought they could defy gravity....lol
thanks again...V
