Recently joined this site and new to Triking. Always been a 2 wheel rider but I am liking this 3 wheel thing. Looking forward to meeting new friends as I slow down to smell the flowers.

Welcome to the site! Glad you are here.

As far as slowing down to smell the flowers, you'll have to do that yourself and not because of the trike. After some seat time you'll find you can keep up with most everyone in the twisties. A proficient crotch-rocket (or zoom-splat as they are called on my other favorite forum) pilot can loose you in the curves, but a lot aren't really proficient. Here in the Ozarks we don't seem to have much in the way of straight roads, and I can ride with any cruiser or touring ride I have met, and about half of the sportbike crowd is surprised when they can't loose me. Acceleration is a different matter though. Trikes can be just as fast, but most aren't as quick, all things being equal.
