New Radio & WHIM files.

I haven't seen this posted in here so I thought I would pass it along. About 3 days ago HD posted new update files on the Boom Box update pages. The new GTS is updated to MY19.19.02.01 | JAN 17, 2019, the 6.5 GT is updated to 1.22.0.2 also on 1/17/2019. The WHIM firmware is updated to 1.1.4 on same date. They show a Dealer Update selection, but when I tried it, it doesn't show or download anything. There is also an update for the Device Manager program to version 1.3.

****I just looked again and the dealer update is downloading a iso file dated 10/17/18 now. Guess they fixed it.***** Took about 4 minutes to install dealer update.

I did the WHIM update, the radio update and the device manager updates. They all installed with no problems. The big Radio update file took about 8 1/2 minutes to install. HOWEVER....... HD has not seen fit to tell us what any of the updates changed or added! They also has some problems the first day or two they released the files with the file names being wrong. Supposedly they have that corrected now.

Mike, Thanks for notifying! Checked their site early last week, this update wasn't showing. Haven't downloaded the update yet, but hope it includes a text document describing changes/enhancements.

For some reason HD has not yet published anything about the changes made by any of the new updates. :xzqxz:

Reminder... Copy the Extracted (ISO) file to the USB drive before installing on Trike not the downloaded file. This install was very easy takes about 15 minutes start to finish. ie Download, extract and install.

I wonder if this new update will make any updates to the GPS?

To the map data base, no. The map updates are only available for a fee and I don't know what the latest is. You can follow the link to naviextras.com from the H-D website.

But to the controlling software that the gps uses in conjunction with the map database I would think that could be updated if errors were found and fixes / improvements could be made. Hard to know exactly what is going on with these updates.

updates not showing what ithey fix

Am I missing something but Harley is no longer showing what the software updates are fixing? In the past when you went to Harley's site and clicked on the software updates it showed the latest update and had an list of what items that it was fixing. I just went to Harley's site and found the latest update 1.22.0.2 but can not find the fix list?????
