If anyone has the chance they should ride the Trace it sure is purdy rite now.I rode from Nashville to the Al. line Sunday and really enjoyed it.RIDE SAFE

Rode the whole thing last year at this time. It really is a great ride.

We rode a short distance on the Trace on Monday from Columbia back to Nashville and yes it almost breath taking. The deep reds and orange was something else.

Make sure you stop at Loveless Cafe near nashville at the beginning of the Trace. Good food and nice little general store across the parking lot. Yummy

I love riding the Trace! Beautiful at any time of year, but I'm sure the Fall colors make it extra special.

I got to the LOVELACE about 7:15am.I thought that something bad had happened to the place, noone was there.I went in and ate and it was wonderful as usual. When I came out the parking lot was almost full.RIDE SAFE

I rode the Trace in May 2011 with my son from Alabama to Nashville. Beautiful road and lots to see. Would love to ride it this time of year.

On 10/26 and 27th we are planning to ride through the Pickwick / Savannah, TN area and up Hwy 128 to Linden and back to home. We will leave Linden and cross the TN. river at Lexington on Hwy 100. Expect to see some very pretty color. Love this time of year.

Rode the Trace a year ago going to Baton Rouge. Stopped at the Lovelace Cafe, 2 and a half hour wait. Didn't eat. Plan on going back. Great ride.

We went up to Kentucky from Texas a couple years ago and the missus wanted to go through Tupelo and do Elvis tourist stuff and drive up the Natchez Trace all the way to Tennessee. It was the middle of summer and HOT and the bugs were horrible... gnats that is. 40 mph for a long ride was too much for me to take and we got off and went up on back roads instead. It was kind of pretty but I found it tiresome to drag along at low speeds for hundreds of miles.

From the Beginning at Hwy 100 outside Franklin/Nashville, to Florence, Alabama is the Best Leg of it....You did good.....:D

We rode the Trace this summer and loved it. For anyone who hasn't been on the Trace yes the speed limit is slow but if you have the time and want to see some small water falls and great roads slow down and enjoy the sites it's worth the time.

the trace is not meant to be a race course. it is meant to be ridden to enjoy the scenery. not all of it is a 40 mile speed limit. one enjoyable thing is being able to ride without a big truck or someone on your bumper wanting you to get out of their way. you see people riding bicycles without having to take chances with automobile traffic.
today i saw a bunch of model t fords that was obviously stock just off the trace with florida tags. i bet they was riding together and enjoying being able to travel at their speed without being harassed by truckers wanting the road.

Change of plans, going to ride the Trace from Wayneboro down to Tishomingo, MS and ride the back roads through northern MS back home to Olive Branch. Beautiful time of year to ride in TN and MS and other areas as well.
