I'm thinking about changing the horn on my Trike from a regular horn to a loud shotgun blast. Think folks would get out of my way a little faster????

Don't change it, add the shotgun blast to a separate switch to use when needed. Some folks will heed the horn but may panic from the gunshot. The ones that need the little extra are those that hear the horn but it doesn't register to them or they ignore it. In that case, give them another blast of the horn, then fire up the shotgun to really get their attention.

It is almost as loud as a freight train - at least 5X the volume as my stock Valk horn.

I rarely use it, but when you do, it's effective.

Find a salvage yard and get em fer $30

I have a Stebel air horn just like the one I put on my Triglide. Much louder than stock and you can have it for the cost of shipping. I had plans to put it on Ma's car but she had a fit when she heard THAT! The horn also comes with a mounting kit so it's a breeze to get mounted on your bike. Took me about an hour to mount but I'm kinda slow.
