Jacking up

Here is what I use to lift my TG. Works great for someone with a bad back & knees and makes a great parking spot.

I recently got a slightly used J&S trike jack ThumbUp and it works great. Damn thing is very heavy!! Found that one wheel was rubbing a square stock tube when fully lowered. I contacted J&S with a picture and they advised me to grind the corner of the stock slightly and that it would not affect the strength. 1 minute with my grinder and some black paint and it rolls perfectly now. I do have the 1.5" tglidestuff shock lift kit on my 2014 and it fits under with no issues.

Not having room in my shop for a Trike lift I drilled a couple holes in the concrete floor and installed a couple "red top" 1/2" sleeves bout 15" apart where the front wheels would set. Got a couple 1/2" eye bolts to fit into the sleeves. Removed when not in use.

Now I secure the front wheel to the floor with a strap thru the front wheel and the eye bolts. Jack the trike up at the back of the tranny. Keeping the front wheel on the ground only the rear wheels come up. Get'em high enough and slide auto ramps under 'em. If I want the whole bike in the air I removed the strap from the front wheel and continue to jack the trike up. The front wheel will come up now. Secure with jack stands.

When I want to put it on the ground I remove the jack stands drop the front end to the ground and back the trike off the auto ramps.

I do the same thing if I don't want to put a trike on the lift.

not wanting to start an argument, just making a comment/observation, if you have room for your Trike than you have room for a lift table. My lift table is as wide as the footprint of the rear tires which means the actual Trike is wider than the lift table and the total length of the Trike is longer than the lift table.
I also use my lift table as my parking spot for the Trike, so I lose no space.

Too many other toys taking up space.....'62 Corvette and other toys. Most of the time the trike is in the trailer.
