I'm desperate!!!!!

Hi All!:wave4:

I need your help......badly!
I did rear brakes on a friends 2011 Triglide. Don't know how this happened, but apparently I missed one of the pad "pin holes" when installing the new pads.
First time he used the brakes, the pad spun down and the piston and rotor were destroyed!!!
The rear brakes are BREMBO.
I have a replacement rotor.
I've searched all day for a rebuild kit, but there isn't one available.
I've asked on other forums where I might find a kit, a piston or a used/new caliper, and invariably the replies trail off to FRONT brake parts!.........FRUSTRATING!!
Any ideas?
Anyone who's upgraded have one (the RIGHT R-E-A-R) they'd sell me?
Please help if you can!
Forever in your debt,
Swa

Have you checked with motorcycle salvage yards?

Yeah, a few......they respond with "I have the rotors". I don't know if what I'm saying comes across in an alien language or what.

Any idea why all the mystery on the topic of these brakes?.....I mean THEY'RE ON ALL HD's.

Thanks for your reply......I'll definitely keep checking salvage dealers.ThumbUp

Don't have one to help you out with, but looks like 212 and change from Ronnies HD.

The rear calipers on the TG are Hayes, Brembo is only on the front.

Just replaced my rear rotors and pads. The manual says if the piston comes out of the caliper, the caliper must be replaced; it is not serviceable. Sorry. You might as well replace both rear calipers.
