I have seen more rain in the past 6 days than I've seen in a long time. And now we are looking at another 4 days of it. We are expecting up to 18 / 20 inch's over this weekend from the Hurricane with high winds. My yard is mushy to walk on and we fear as soft as the ground is the high winds could easily uproot trees. We are under flood warnings for most of SC, and flood watch for most of Columbia and Lexington where I live.

Well it could be worse, but I'll certainly be glad when it's over.:AGGHH:

I have family that is getting hammered with all that rain. Here in southern New Mexico it has been hot, mid 90s. We have had more rain this year that the past 4 years combined and that is a whopping total below 19 inches of rain. Rain is moving in tonight for the next 3 days and we are expecting to drop the temps to the low to mid 80s. Great riding weather even with the little rain. Jim

Raining here in Jersey buy not as bad as you have it, [Yet] We were in a drought warning, So the rain is much needed up here... Look's like the Hurricane will stay out to sea.. People out here are still shellshocked from Sandy, So thats good news.

had some rain the past week but next few days look dry. Below average for this year on the rain totals. Temps are starting to make there way down so the foliage should start to pop in the next couple weeks.

The only thing good for Jersey right now, is that the hurricane turned out to sea. Otherwise, we are enduring a separate, nor'easter, which should go away in a day or 2. ThumbUp

Last week we were headed in that direction until we saw the forecast. We to Kansas instead. No rain at that time with temps in low 50's and upper 70's.

Beautiful! Highs in the 70s with lots of sun. A little rain forecast for today but is supposed to be fine for the next week. Great Fall riding weather!

Blairsville GA

My wife and I arrived here at Copperhead Resort Thursday evening and it's been raining since. I'm so glad we trailered the bike. At least we have the truck to get out for awhile.
SUCKS!

Raining here for the last 5 days and now we are getting the tail end from SC rain. Be Safe in SC everyone.

Sorry to hear about all the recent rain events.

South Florida has had its share of tropical related events.

We got off lucky this time. Today's forecast is partly cloudy, 30 % chance of rain, high 88 degrees, with westerly winds up to 15 mph.

Low 8o's today. Down from the low 90's that hung around for a month, and we'll be back into that before too long. No rain, but we darn sure need some. No significant rain here since tropical storm Bill. Wife and I are burning up the roads, using a lot of fuel, and going places every day while it lasts.

Here in NW New Mexico it is getting to the mid 40's overnight and to the high 70's during the day on average. Been dry most of the time still some good riding weather.

Apple Harvest Festival in Dover, NH today. Main Street closed to traffic as thousands of people enjoy a cool day, 58F and cloudy.
Ham and bean supper tonight in Maine.
Hope Y'all have a great day, rain or not!

rain in SC

hay Dan, hope you'll don't have any trees down with all that rain. We have kinfolks in Aiken, talk to them yesterday that had a little rain but not bad but today is when there rain is 100% with heavy rain. I will call them later to day. ( there grand daughter was going to have her wedding out side at there place. but with the rain they have moved it inside)
Darlene and I live out of town about 4 mil. and we know about rain and trees we have lost 3 good trees over the years, in our back yard (big old oaks trees )

Sorry to hear about the lousy weather in the rest of the country. North central Florida had a hi of about 75 and Ma and I and 6 friends went to the thriving metropolis of Williston, Florida for their peanut festival. They had real good grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and them grape Nehi drinks me n Opie like. I was scared the whole time we was there tho. Ya know, with muggers and pick pockets n all that stuff in them big cities.

Rain here til Tuesday!!!! High ground has a real meaning to us now.:Dorag:

Well today it was cloudy and windy with the temps in the lower 60"s. Tonight it's starting a misting rain with the temp in the lower 40's. There is a bright side, I hear we are going to get back up in the 80's next week:pepper: maybe get some riding in next week.:clapping:

Boy did we catch it last night!!!!! 8+" rain and some pretty good winds all night long. We had a pond dam across the road give way and take out a section of the road.. It is BAD for most parts of SC. They are reporting more damage already from this than when Hurricane Hugo came through back in the 90's. Still have power here and because we are on a hill , no flooding of the house. I need SUNSHINE ASAP!!!!

Raining here in west central Florida off and on all day again, yesterday was only a 20% chance so we went out and hit that percentage, lol. Our area is 21 inches above normal so far this year, can't wait until fall really kicks in and we get a couple of days in a row without the precip.

84 and NICE time to be riding but I am waiting on a new alternator, grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Just found out there is a custom Trike builder about 30 miles from me I never knew about, May ride down there and check them out. I forgot the name of what the dude told me it was but I know the area so stay tuned lol
