Here we go again another Transformer

With new bike and the Trike kit safe at Hannigan it is a waiting game.

Hannigan is going to repaint the new bike to match the trike kit. So Zephyr Blue /black with blue pin stripes is what it will be.
I have given painter the option to get creative with the paint. I have seen his work on my own and others projects both trike and sidecars. He has the eye for it.

Bright side this will all get done over winter. First snow is coming in about 24 hours.

Just something to think about. Good insurance, proper coverage for what you have and fully understanding it.
My insurance settled with me and will deal with the other party.

The property damage part went fast and was right in line with what I expected. By time there is a new Trike sitting finished.
I will have a new 2024 RGL my trike kit installed painted the way we want it.

Because I purchased mine back I gave up 8K on the settlement. At this point the math say's 2K in the hole. Not bad considering 4 year newer bike. Also I have brand new HD tour pack ,saddlebags, seat and side covers to sell or keep. If sold they wipe out the 2K with cash left over.

Also have my stage 2 engine,Transmission with reverse,FM 2-1-2 header and Jack pot mufflers to use or sell .

Very nice! I agree, good insurance is the key. In my case, I think I did alright with my settlement. A couple times I was second guessing keeping full coverage as mine was an 07 but glad I did now. The settlement helped in purchasing the 12 that is being converted and will help towards the conversion kit. So 5 years newer and I went from 95k miles down to 22k miles.

Unfortunately, my insurance told me that buying back the trike wasn't a thing they normally allow. And I had an opportunity to see after photos of the damages and think it's probably just as well. My thoughts are that damage on trike body would have cost too much to repair to make it worth it. So I guess it works out in the end. It just means I have to add more of my own funds to cover the cost but still a lot less than if I had to cover the full cost of this project.

I notice there's no tourpack on this. Is it going to be more of the freewheeler style or it just doesn't have the tourpack installed yet? I'm guessing it would have to be painted as well to use?

Tour pack is sitting on the shelf. I would never let go of the tour pack, I ride with a wife.
Considering having the panel made that covers the hole if I did remove tour pack for any reason.
IMO it looks good with or with out the Tour pack.

I had to consider the new tank badge with the paint . It is larger at first I had planned to remove it.
Then it grew on me and decide to keep it.

Also in S/E Wisconsin 14 miles outside Watertown

Nice, that puts you only a little more than an hour straight north of me. And my Ortho Doc I've been going to is in Summit which is even closer. Maybe once the riding season starts and I get my trike up here, I will be able to slide by and go out for a ride.

We will make it happen. I will have sidecar back on the other RGL when Payton is cleared to ride.
I may ride the RGL on two wheel for a while.

I was clear Hannigan had already got started on the trike. They did charge the $1,0000 deposit to my account on Jan 3rd. All good news.

5 F degrees wake up this morning. I bet it a good bit warmer in Murray KY. almost ready to take a drive down.
