Went to a local Harley shop today with a dozen other riders for hotdogs and ice cream. I had the opportunity to view the Triglide and the Freewheeler side by side. If I was to have a lapse in judgement and decide to by one I believe it would be the Triglide. Freewheeler just doesn't do it for me. Don't like the bobbed rear fenders of the godawful parking brake hanging down below the bike. I did like the top load trunk. If you put a luggage rack on it and have it loaded you may have a problem opening it. They do have a passenger backrest for it. I'm guessing there is a drivers backrest as there is a slot in the drivers seat.

The Triglide just looks better and is well appointed. It too needs to loose the ugly parking brake.

3 red Triglides and a blue and a black Freewheeler.

The rest of the bikes on the floor were all Black ones. Nobody wants to wear a uniform but we'll pay $1,000's to all ride the same color bike?????????????? Not this boy!

Sherry and I visited our local Harley dealer today. They have a cook-out outside, every Saturday,so we thought we would get a bite to eat and check to see if anything new was happening. They had one 2015 TriGlide in Black Magic color and two Freewheelers, one in Black and one in Amber Whiskey. I've known the owner and employees for a long time. When we decided to convert our Street Glide instead of purchasing a new trike from them,I think they still might be a little miffed at us. Oh,well! We did what we thought was best for us and not them. Sherry and I test-rode both a TriGlide and Freewheeler and neither one really impressed us enough to write a check. I still like both of them though, especially the Freewheeler.

Um...yeah. They'll survive.

If that gets them mad at you and they hold a grudge, then they really aren't friends anyhow.

I'm betting originally you bought the bike you're converting off them in the first place.

Besides, your conversion looks awesome, and Harley trikes are cookie cutter. I know because I own one. ;)

TriGlide was almost my choice by default since I wanted to stay with a V Twin. Just personal preference. Then I saw the Kawasaki Voyager already triked out at a dealership. There were so many nice to me differences that I jumped on it. Plus I am a Kawasaki fan anyway. Nothing against HD but like somebody else said they are "cookie cutter".

trikes

the thing about the e brake, some states require them on trikes. I would prob by Triglide, but price is forbidding and never get a reasonable price for mine. my 2ct.
