First time owner of a 2009 honda goldwing roadsmith trike and my question is during deceleration in lower gears I hear what I think above normal whining. Previously owned HD trike was much quieter. Drove it home four hours from the dealership at different speeds. Not sure but I think it's coming from the rear end. Please let me know your experience with what to expect and how to resolve. Thanks

I appreciate your response. I'm new to goldwing roadsmith trike so anything helps.
Today is second day of ownership and I discovered thumping noise with each rotation. First and second gear is louder as I speed up the thumping evens out but it shouldn't be this noisy. The previous owner had a hitch so maybe pulling could have strained the joints and rear end gears??? The thumping and whining during deceleration appears to be coming somewhere under passenger area. Any feedback will be appreciated.
