Greetings from Finger, NC

Hello Jim and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. There's many people here who have used many different based trikes depending on a personal option or availability. In thinking about the design of your project, keep in mind what you intend to do. If you are looking to travel, maybe pulling a small trailer, riding 2up, hiway speeds, do not start with a small engine trike. You will be turning an extra tire and the rear tires will be bigger, you will need more power. If you are not going to travel, just bang around town, no hiways, no trailer, seldom 2up, then you can start small. Unless you have a different idea. Riding season is just about to start so you will have to get really busy. Good luck, ride safe.
