Finally ! Maybe today I'll get back on.....

We left for Minn for the Christmas holidays. I got back a week earlier then my wife. She wanted to stay a bit longer with our daughter and grand kids. Plus she had some appointments to take care of. The 1st hour I got back here to Surprise, Az I got this uncontrollable chills waiting out side for my friends to pick me up. That was on the morning of the 1st. Been sick and sicker ever since. Fever, chills, cough, .. Took some asprins but never really helped out too much. Wife came home and we took off to the doc's office. Got a fist full of meds and some cough meds also. Been going on for over 2 weeks now. I feel good. But lost my voice and still have this stupid cough. Haven't been on my Trike since before the holidays. But today just might be the day. Friends of ours are selling some pipes they had on their HD Trikes. They thing think their to loud enough. So I get my choice of which set I want to put on mine. The price is fantastic. So I can't not say NO. Might ride the Trike up to Wickenburg, Az to pick them up. Not might not take the bike cause of the cough and slightly sore throat. Might have to take the truck and follow them back here on with theirs. But I hope to at least get a quick ride around this afternoon. If we have time to install them today that would be great also. But it looks like that might have to wait till Saturday morning after breakfast. I haven't been to active on here because of the way I felt. But It looks like I just might have reached the peak of this crap. So many people out here are sick with this same thing. Ok that's enough for today. Got to get my old ass going. That is what I say to myself almost every day, but my 'old ass' keeps saying, maybe tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! :gah: :AGGHH:

:Shrug: I don't know if I dislike Minnesota worse in the winter with the wet cold or the summer with all the humidity?
Both have an adverse affect on me.:Shrug:
Dry cold and dry heat is bad enough in Wyoming, I don't care what anyone says it's still cold and still hot!:gah:

Like Zook said, take time and get well. You don't have anything to prove to anyone by riding in cold weather. take the truck all warm and dry and get better.

:AGGHH: Just got over that stuff myself , feel your pain . I finally give it up and went to the doc , steroid shot , script for more steroids , antibiotics and 7 days later feeling good except the voice .

Take care it seems this stuff is hard for all to fight off and won't leave on it's own . GOOD LUCK and that thing will be there when you get better !!!!!!!!!!

To answer a few questions. YES I flew back to Az from Minn. Day or tow later I felt like sh**! Yesterday my Buddy down the street told me. That he would strap the mufflers on his tour pak and bring them back. He said if you decide to ride your Trike up there. Well as I thought more and more about him doing that. I went over to his house and said. I'll just take my truck and follow you and your wife up there. Before I could finish ! He said I;ll pick you guys up in my truck. OHHH Ok. Drove up there sat around and shot the bull . Well as much as I could with my voice going in & out. Then came back here and went to lunch with everyone 3 couples. Then had drinks at our friends home. Sat around for over an hour and talked Trikes. They both own a 2014 TRI Glide. So between 3 couples that 4 Trikes all 14's. SO today is Muffler install day . I'll let everyone know how that goes later. Weather update for Surprise, AZ Today. SUNNY, WARM high of 73. Perfect for working on the bike. Tomorrow high of 77 and MORE SUN. I'll have to record the 2 games on TV. I hot a hunch that i'll be on my bike most of the day ThumbUp. Today is my last day on the meds YAHOOO.ThumbUp My voice seems better everyday. So I hope this is the last of that crud ! ok Coffee and out to get the PIPES on. Later guys............................

Good Morning ThumbUp. Well yesterday went well. Got started early on getting the PIPES off and on. About an 1 1/2 to do it all plus taking it for a quick ride to hear them ThumbUpThumbUp. YUP sounds pretty damn good. Had 8 Harley's and not one of them were ever quiet . Had my buddy take it for a ride past the house so I could hear what it sounds like. No one really kknows just from ridin your own scoot what it sounds like to others. I HAPPY the way it sounds and can still hear my radio if I want to
