Cavie the most intelligent thing you have written. I like it a lot. Good job

I know you guys down there like your weather but I can't believe how warm it is here in Southeast Missouri. It is in the mid 50's today with a lot of wind and if you can believe the extended forecast it is going to be in the 60's next week. This time last year we had two snow storms already. Don't get me wrong I wish I had your weather but I'm not going to complain about our weather this month. Next month might be a completely different story. Wishing everyone down there a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Every day I wake up and say "Thank You, Thank You" for another day in paradise.

Agree with that jaxbobg, we were out yesterday for around 150 miles, it hit 84 in the afternoon, our slowdown time on the trike will probably be summer, opposite of everyone else, lol.

We're expecting 84 degrees in Ocala Christmas day.

Bein from Cincinnati it just don't seem right seein Christmas decorations while ridin the bike and havin to put on sun screen too!

Merry Christmas folks! Life is great in NJ this year, retired and beautiful weather. Sorry Santa!

The only snow that flies in Florida to me is wearing a helmet. That sucks. Ill take sunny Texas. I can ride 9mo outta the years, but so far im free of the burden of a helmet.

Surely your opinion must be different. Helmet laws suck, only bumper sticker Ive ever run and run it i did till the car got traded off.

Free men make choices, don't draft me again, if its a war worth fighting for enough men will volunteer, if helmets are needed those that like them will wear them.

No choice makes us serfs, serving the elite. How many kickbacks do the politicos get from the helmet makers ??? for my own good of course.

This country bumpkin wants to know how often does one ride in FL when summer arives. Humidity plus the heat has got to take a toll !

As as far as helmet laws go, I use to ride in no-law states with bandanas, base ball caps, and even skull caps. Also left a lot of them on the highways. One time I tried to retrieve one blowing off my head and almost lost control, that was a scarey time. So saying that the head grass all died and is very vonerable to severe sunburn, I have a few very comfortable helmets and ware them one at a time. Remember it's "Function not Fashon ". By the way, you all have a safe and Merry Christmas.

I ride 365 days a year. 1/2 helmet in the summer. Fullface in the winter. Summer night riding is great. Did I mention the #$%^& A/C is on today!!!

I'll let you guys have Southern Florida (Naples area) as I do not like the flat rough roads for riding. I much prefer the roads in Central Alabama for riding although it gets too cool for me in January and February. I was a resident of Florida for almost 21 years and do miss the warm weather Dec. thru Feb. but that's all since we are no longer interested in going to the beach as when we did when we were younger. Time changes things....Oh those "Golden Years"....but I still ride the Trike and that won't change as long as I am able. Ride Safe regardless of where you ride. Doc ThumbUp

P.S. cavie, I used to agree with your poem from age 60 to 80 but now things are different. I still boat, fish, ride my tractor, take care of almost 4 acres on a nice lake when not riding the Trike.

I don't know since when, guess I could Google it, but I don't need to. FL has been an optional helmet state since I can remember when I started riding in 1968, and I'm native Floridian.

Yes helmet laws in Florida. Must have $10,000 med insurance and be over 21 not to wear one.

Thanks i knew ya just had a helmet law, and it seemed to me to be a bummer cause of the heat, and i never found a helmet i liked, just me.

Think Texas law was or is the same, something happens to me let the VA deal with it, after all they kill more vets than the helmet-less side of things. Brings me comfort. :AGGHH:

Good color combo on that avatar. Mine looks to be lasa opso mixed breed.

I ride 3 days a week. 1/2 helmet in the summer. Sometimes shorts on the trike. Radiator fan is hot on the legs with shorts. Keep feet on the highway pegs.
