Battery Recommendations

2017 FLRT. I'm pretty sure it is the original battery. Should I go with H-D or is there something better (and possibly at a better price)? Something I can pick up at the local Advance Auto, NAPA, Autozone or Walmart?

I read the manual, changing it doesn't look too difficult.

Check Batteries Plus, they have a 2 year warranty on some of their batteries

I put one in my 15 Freewheeler, it was as good if not better than the HD OEM and the price was right

When I needed a battery for my 2011 Tri-Glide I ordered it from Amazon it was called a big crank (From Battery Mart) and it came to my door step in a day and a half from when I ordered it..

I ordered the Platinum AGM GYZ32HL, 500 CCA from Battery Mart a year ago. Not cheap but did ya ever try push starting one of these suckers?

Your current battery is 5 years old - and, has served you well. Let's look at it this way.

I have been married for 42 years and, my wife has treated me well. No need to look elsewhere.

17 - 20 batteries are the same H D part number

H D OEM battery is $179.00 with 1 year warranty, many other batteries can be had cheaper and or a better warranty Batteries Plus, Advanced Auto Etc.

I think its a good choice- Ive had several from them and quite satisfied, they have served me well on both 2 and 3 wheels.

Was supposed to be delivered Friday, but it is in FedEx limbo. Last known whereabouts is Memphis, Tennessee.

I got a call from Battery Mart, they are escalating it with FedEx.

Mine took over an hour..(2011 Triglide)…

I dropped the bolt that holds the seat down…And couldn’t find it and it took that long for me to find another one in my 80 pounds of nuts and bolts.

Changing the Battery on a 21 -22 is probably going to take an hour

With the new ECM and extra electrical wiring, it all has to be moved out of the way for sure, maybe some of it totally disconnected, unlike the earlier models where you could actually see the battery
