There's a chance I might have to go out of town for 10 days - 2 weeks and there is no way I can consciously leave a battery tender hooked up to the trike with no one around to keep an eye on things. My question is can I just pull the main 50 amp fuse to disable the security system so it doesn't drain the battery while I'm gone or should I take one of the cables off the battery?

LOL, we’ve been riding so much and trouble free I haven't even looked to see which side to access the battery, time to get the book out I guess.

Battery Tenders are made to leave on for extended periods when you don't ride....I have the HD one cause it plugs into the connector on the bike.....
My hook-up for Tender is behind left side cover...2015 Tri-Glide

I understand the tender davek but we live in Florida, the lightning capitol of the U.S., surges are a common thing around our neck of the woods in Tampa Bay and don't want to fry anything that's why I asked about pulling the fuse.

Unless your battery has a lot of age on it, it should be fine for several weeks without a charge. I would not be afraid to leave mine for 6-8 weeks off charge. I have left Motorcycles in the past over 3 months in the winter months unattended and when I hit the starter it would spin the engine with no problems.
That said....age and extreme heat and cold can take a toll on a battery if it is left unattended for a long period.

You should be all-right without disconnecting any thing... Just keep both FOB's out of signal distance to the Trike..ThumbUp

Thanks for all the info everyone, if I have to go north I think I'll just leave everything alone.
