Another Trike in the Garage

In '92 we became trikers when Gloria decided a VW trike with an automatic transmission was just the ticket. We kept the Trike Shop Runabout until 2004, when we sold it back and got a Goldwing trike. That 1500 bit the dust, and we got an 1800, which we still have. Gloria always was a bit sad about letting go of the Runabout, and she got a yen for another VW trike. So...after a few months hunt, the past weekend we went to Minnesota and to pickup a 2007 Trike Shop V-Cycle Roadhawk. Auto Transmission, 1835cc, black, with a upgrade wide seat. So here we are back in the VW-based family, and the garage is getting full with the HD FLHS, Triumph Bonneville, GW1800 Champion trike and now the Roadhawk. She is pretty excited to get back on the road again in the front seat.

That looks really comfortable Don. You think Gloria's gonna ever let you drive it? ;)

It seems to be comfortable. I got to "ride" it when we took it off the trailer and put it in the garage. I'm sure I'll have many opportunities to ride: after I change the oil, adjust the valves, wash and polish it and other maintenance. ;)

Years ago, when I was first looking at trikes, I looked real hard at the Trike Shop runabout, very sharp looking. I ended up triking a Valkyerie instead. But those Runabouts are very eye catching and one of a kind. :). Congrats on the new add

Man, that is one sharp ride! I'm seriously considering letting mine go because of a left leg injury, and getting an automatic. A Roadhawk would be just the ticket!

Ozarkryder that is a beautiful trike I am sure that your wife will enjoy it for many years of riding. Congratulations on another trike in the garage.
