Air Deflectors Installed

I have installed the new air deflector from DK Customs, my cylinder temps before these air deflectors was 255 to 265 on the average and even higher in stop and go traffic.:gah: After adding these air deflectors Temps dropped to 240 to 246 even lower at times and not greater than 260 in stop and go traffic. ThumbUp These should really extend the life on Old Shiney well past my years, I would recommend anyone wanting to drop engine temps give this low cost efficient modification a real go to increase the life of their machine, I know these will be on mine.ThumbUp Well done to Kevin and his group of innovative people at DK Customs for a job well done. :clapping:Travel safely fearless

easy install

It goes on the Gas tank bolt easy to do mine were one of the first runs really tight fitting I may have to work on them in future. I could not believe my eyes watching the temps never going up. We rode an extra 50 miles or so trying to get it to change never did. I think Kevin has a great low cost upgrade on his hands. fearless

I probably need to pick up one of those for our trike and have it powdercoated. I'm in the process of changing out the foot controls on it (new Ness shifter & brake lever,w/SMT pegs) so I'm in the modifying mood,right now.

Sorry about Bugs

Clint I think they (air deflectors) are the cats butt with lowers it will be interesting to see this summer when I take the lowers off. When it gets real hot I do sometimes take them off. Still I believe they make a real difference for the dollar.ThumbUp Just had to get those bugs off after seeing the pictures I posted I just got out of the stable. ride safely fearless

About ten to fifteen minutes, took longer to get tools out and put back than do the wrench work. Opening and closing lowers seems to effect the heat reduction as well I really think they are a great low cost Mod. ThumbUp ride safely fearless

Sounds like a great Idea. I don't have the tank lift but looks like they are in the process of designing them with out the need for one.
