A Question for the Ladies

I got these chrome axle nut covers for the front. Seemed like an easy thing for me to do but I'm having a problem installing them.

This piece of metal is stopping the cover from fitting over the nut. I think it's part of the cotter pin. Any ideas?

Thanks everyone.
Carol

It's the cotter pin, The cotter pin is a safety pin, Incase the axle nut loosen's that will stop the nut from spinning off... That said you might be abel to trim some of it off or flatten it some.. Just from that end not the loop [top] end...

cut it shorter

Started some of the "girling up".

Here is the lever fringe I put on this weekend. I may cut it shorter.

Cool

I suggest you don't cut the fringe until you try this. Tie a knot in it, add a silver charm or bead, tie another knot.

I am partial to the square silver beads with letters on them. I had my name on mine, one letter on each fringe starting from the top and moving down just a tad with each letter.

OK....here's an update. Has it really been 5 months? Wow. Time really does fly.

I haven't done much that could truly be called "bling" but I have added some personal touches.

Here is my sheepskin seat cover. My husband says it's pretty girly :D. I also added the HD Adjustable Backrest and a backrest organizer from Bone Mountain. Really love the seat cover. It's saving my butt this summer.

I just got my chrome bumper yesterday :clapping:. This is definitely bling. It looks great.

I'm looking for the right license plate frame to add some more bling to the back end.

These are the leather grips I added.

These are the chrome Front Wheel hub covers I added. For some reason I don't have a picture of them on my trike. And..........

Wiley.....looking thoroughly annoyed at me for making him wear glasses for a picture :clapping:. He's growing up fast and has become my little shadow. He's coming with us to Orlando tomorrow for 4 days of celebration for my dad's 90th birthday. It's going to be so special. My dad is so awesome. A proud Air Force Lt. Col. Ret. I'm proud to call him my dad.

That's all for now. I have much more planned. Still deciding on what to do for pin striping, there are all sorts of chrome bits I want to add and I'm looking at doing some stage one upgrades to ease the heat up a bit. I have sooooooo many questions. I have been searching the archives and have learned a lot but I'm not a wrencher at all so understanding tuners and which exhaust slip ons are freer flowing than others is a little beyond me.

More to come......

Carol, give DK customs a call about IED tuner for the trike. Cheap plug and play, and they work well. I have them. Nice updates, I like to keep it simple and clean with the bling thing.
Wiley , like my avatar Dazy with glasses, she mentioned "Is This Really Necessary" :cxtv:
My dad was also 90, ex coast guard vet. Happy Birthday .

Sheepskin

Hi Carol.....nice touches to your TG! Where did you find the sheepskin seat cover?

I got it from www.wildthingsfur.com. Someone here on TT recommended them. It's very nice quality.
