2013 triglide ultra hand brake

Hello, im new here. I recently forgot to release the emerg hand brake, didnt realize it till i got home some 70 mi later. Anyone know if i mightve messed anything up? Bike had no hesitation, or smell of anything burning ie brakes etc.. took it out for a short putt to check it out, nothing out of ordinary. Thanks

Well it really depends on how tight the e brake was adjusted before you forgot to release the brake. If you put your brakes on now (Regular stopping) and you don't feel a shimmy or a since of one of the brakes grabbing and then letting off you probably didn't do any serious damage. If the e-brake was tight when set and you rode off you would of felt it. If every thing feels good I would just check the rear pads and replace if necessary.

I would not worry about it; your hand brake was probably out of adjustment or you would have felt a drag. I never use my hand brake, if I feel the need for extra braking while parked, I have a velcro strap I put arounf the front brake lever. Otherwise, I just park in 1st gear
