Right front brake handle

My right brake handle has a little play, but I noticed it's squeaking a bit. Thoughts or ideas?

Thanks

A shot of spray lubricant will take care of the squeak...How much is a little play, and did it just get loose...

When I say loose or slight it's the nay when I go to engage. But probably would not have noticed if not for squeak.

Look at #10, it is a bushing for your lever (both levers have 1)

Over time they do wear, the levers both need a bit of slop thru the bushings, or they would bind or snap off. Use some spray lube each oil change, and put a dab of white grease in the front of the lever, it is kind of tricky, I use a long swab.

What about some spray silicone lubricant? If not I'll have to pick up some white grease 👊😎👍

Man ~ Hard to believe that the bushings etc. have worn enough to cause a squeak. I would lean more to the cable itself being the culprit. That said - A little Oil / DW 40 etc. around the movable thingy's and maybe then a drop or two down the cable. But gonna be real curious what you find.

Silicone for me

WD 40 lets see Water Displacement 40 th formula 90% Kerosene no thank you it is good stuff for what it is intended. However there are better products available for brake levers than WD 40. Everyone grabs it because we all have it on our shelves in the garage just sayin... ride safe Fred

I guess I never knew the brake master cylinder had a cable.
