i'm needing to adjust my belt on a 15 tri. what's the best way to support it while i do it? just two floor jacks ? jackstands and where to put them ? axle tube or under the rear body support ? just bgetting the wheels off looks to be tough. THANKS !

I"m new to trikes but have turned wrenches on my two wheeler's for years. I just installed a lift kit on my 16 Tri and i used the two screw jacks out of my trucks and placed them under the tow hooks on the axle(the jacks had the perfect top for this) and jacked each one up a little bit at a time, then i placed two jack stands under the rear of the trike on the steel cross members between the mufflers,( not on the trunk floor ) worked great.Used a bungee cord around the front brake lever to keep it from rolling forward or you can use a tire chock.Be sure to break the lug nuts loose before jacking it up if you plan on removing the tires.Hope this helps.

Just curious, Why do you have to adjust it?

after getting some miles on this new trike it has loosened up a bit and is not withing spec. any longer. i was wondering if it would just be easier to remove the body to get at the bolts ?

Dealer adjusted mine for free at first service. They expect it to stretch some. FWIW it is 6 bolts and some electrical plugs and some ty-wrap cuts to remove the body and takes about 15 minutes .... 2 people to lift off.

just wondering if anyone sees their belts tighten up some when the weather gets hot ? set mine at 7/16 cold and it was very confortable outside when i did it, now that's it's gotten hot out the adjustment is at 3/8.
