I just came back from the HD dealer out here. Pricing a backrest for 14 Tri glide and I KNOW that's Harley stuff is a tad expensive. BUT $356.00 for just a driver backrest  ??? So I've been looking of the net for one also. Found one in the Dennis Kirk on line for $ 170.00 bucks. Now that I can deal with. BUT !!! It doesn't say if it will fit a HD Trike just list two wheelers. That's where my problem is. Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

I'm thinking I can make it work since I already have the split seat so what else is there ?? HELP pictures or post PLEASE. Thanks ThumbUp

The reason the harley one is so expensive is because it has a fully adjustable hydraulic backrest. You can change the position while riding. I have had the fixed position backrest and now I have the hydraulic one and love it. Worth the extra $$.

Back rest

I located one on Ebay, its Chinese but it works and it is comfortable. I have it on a 15 Freewheeler and it fits great just make sure you check to see what the mounting brackets for your bike look like and match them up with the photos on ebay. I paid $95 with free shipping.

I had found one locally {used} from an older FLH - The only difference is that the "L" bracket that mounts on the frame is too short. Took about 10 minutes to craft a new one out of angle iron. Saved hundreds....jc
