Lately when i leave a store i push on the door instead of pulling, Even though their clearly marked ''Pull''

Very embarrassing to say the least... So now i only frequent stores that have automatic doors.

And i don't even want to get into those drive up windows i could never tell which is window #1 or window #2. Any help would be appreciated ..

Thanks.

Hummm.....Are you having any problems at 4 way Stop intersections?

Not to worry AGE has nothing to do with it.:xszpv:

Well, Rhino, sounds pretty normal to me. Of course at my age, the younger folks are starting to refer to me as "eccentric", "crotchety", "curmudgeon", and "obdurate".

(Yeah I had to look that last one up too. Google says it's "stubbornly refusing to change one's opinion or course of action." Pretty sure that's not me they're talking about. :()

Anyway, public building exit doors should open outward, subject to different local codes. This came about as a result of the Cocoanut Grove Club fire in 1942 where almost 500 people died because the main exit was a revolving door and the other doors opened inwards.

So you see? You're not the crazy one here. (Are you?)

Don't worry about windows 1 or 2. Stop at every one you see and ask for directions Hoboken.

Sounds like a variant of A.A.A.D.D. Help may or may not be available.

Your ok I see that all the time. The best one was they pushed one door then the other then looked at me and yelled are you open.I was yelling pull the whole time.Sometimes working in an old building is fun.

I've opened (or not opened in this case) doors like that. Flat-nose-syndrome can happen as a result of one too many time of doing it.

Getting to Hoboken isn't the problem.....it's leaving (and no, not because it is a pleasant place). Could be worse. Could end up in Hackensack. Or even Camden. In short, always best to just avoid NJ at all costs.:p:qpnmt::Joker3:

Can't help you with the drive through thing, I think they change it on purpose just to screw with us old guys! But the whole push-pull issue has plagued me for years! Musta been a knock on the head in my younger days! :D
